MingScope MingScope Methodology
Generative AI does not calculate your BaZi chart. MingScope separates birth normalization, deterministic chart calculation, rule evaluation and narrative generation. Calculable facts are fixed first; AI may explain the Fact Pack, but it cannot rewrite it.
Input Birth data → Deterministic Fact Pack → Versioned Rule Evidence → Bounded AI Interpretation
01 · Principles
Core design principles 01 Facts before prose Four Pillars, Five Elements and timing data are calculated and versioned before any narrative is generated.
02 Global birth normalization Birthplace, IANA timezone, historical DST, coordinates and true-solar-time correction are handled as a separate layer.
03 Traceable interpretation Interpretations stay linked to Rule IDs and a Fact Pack hash so generated language cannot silently alter chart facts.
02 · Pipeline
Six separate stages from birth time to interpretation The product is a pipeline with explicit inputs and outputs, not one oversized prompt.
01 · Normalize Normalize place and time Resolve the birthplace to coordinates and timezone, with historical DST and true-solar-time correction when applicable.
timezone · DST · longitude
02 · Calculate Calculate the Four Pillars deterministically Compute year, month, day and hour pillars plus solar-term boundaries without a generative model.
pillars · solar terms
03 · Derive Derive elements, Ten Gods and relations Use the Day Master to derive Five Elements, Ten Gods and structural interactions, then freeze them into a Fact Pack.
five elements · ten gods
04 · Rules Evaluate a versioned Rule Engine Only matching rules emit signals, and every signal retains the Rule ID and score contribution that produced it.
rule IDs · score components
05 · Interpret AI explains the facts AI does not recalculate the chart. It uses only the Fact Pack and Rule Evidence to organize career, money, relationships and timing language.
fact-bound narrative
06 · Validate Validate consistency and claims Check Ten-God roles, useful-element language, scores and timing for contradictions, while limiting overconfident medical, legal or financial claims.
consistency · safety
03 · Boundaries
The calculation engine and AI have different jobs. Deterministic AI cannot change Normalized birth-time result Four Pillars and Day Master Element, Ten-God and structure Fact Pack Matched rules and score components Calculated decade and annual cycles Generative AI is used for Explaining specialist terms clearly Synthesizing multiple signals into context Korean, Chinese and English localization Turning findings into planning prompts Removing repetition and final editing 04 · Audit trail
The result keeps a trail of why it was produced. Paid reports and internal QA use the same trace structure.
Calculator version Version of the deterministic calculator
Ruleset version Version of the applied rule catalog
Fact Pack hash Identifier for the fixed interpretation input
Matched Rule IDs Rules that actually affected the result
Score components Components behind the MingScope index
MingScope structures a traditional BaZi/Four Pillars interpretive system as a reflection and planning tool. It does not provide scientific prediction, medical diagnosis, legal advice or financial advice.
